Welcome

Most of these poems were inspired and written for some of the most wonderful people in my life. The rest come from a place neither here nor there.

Sanctuary

Lie my head,
Gently rested.
Concrete bed,
Heart infested.
Sorrow, dead,
Life in question.
Daily bread,
Still pretending.

Tim

Beyond the stars is a girl in chains,

Who is enslaved by prophecy.

Ever, can she break free?

A hero will save you,

For Love goes beyond death.

Shine

A spark, like that of a star.
As such it shines down.
From high, high above.

No mortal can reach this light.
No one can grace its touch.

Yet it glimmers hopefully,
Mockingly,
And desertedly.

It stares emptily,
Despite promising wonders.

These constellations of light,
May yet grant me immortality.

So I may reach them,
And float with them forever...

Not Entirely Untitled

The simpleness,
The sorrow,
The hope that is,
Tomarrow,

Weary eyes,
Break of day,
Sorry guise,
And shift away,

Holy dawn,
Shielded lies,
Oversee,
Misguided lives,

The happiness,
The hollow,
The will to take,
And follow.

Sift Through the Sands

It flows,
Breathing harshly,
Forcing this cold despair,
Upon those who do not revolt,
Fight this,

Sleep,
Foggy, endless,
Dreaming, seeing, yet disbelieving,
Holding no candle to sorrow,
Forever.

Interphased

To see their face,
Collective binded,
Altogether blinded,
Gone without a trace.

To see their lies,
Collectively taken,
Altogether shaken,
Gone without reprise.

To see their fate,
Collectively gathered,
Altogether mathered,
Gone without new slate.
