Welcome

Most of these poems were inspired and written for some of the most wonderful people in my life. The rest come from a place neither here nor there.

Deepest of Dreams

His eyes were closed,
In eternal sleep,
The room was chilled,
By a rhythmic beep,

His mother cried,
On the edge of despair,
As she gently ran through,
His bright golden hair,

She hugged him tightly,
Praying in tears,
That he would survive,
And that her fears were just fears,

He was her world,
And she loved him to death,
And he showed her that love,
In every last breath,

She shed one last tear,
As he opened his eyes,
Her delicate heart,
Was filled with surprise,

They hugged each other,
With tears in their eyes,
They loved each other,
And love never dies.
