Welcome

Most of these poems were inspired and written for some of the most wonderful people in my life. The rest come from a place neither here nor there.

The Choosing

Left or right?
Who to fight?
Was I wrong
To take up flight?

I guess it's wrong,
To think your right,
When you yourself,
Can't see the light,

The winding path,
Of which we choose,
Will you win?
Or will you lose?

Can you pick,
The perfect close,
When the fork you cross,
Has a million roads?

So take your time,
And just be free,
Just look around,
And soon you'll see,

It will be clear,
And the right time will come,
But right now my friend,
Just soak up the sun,

We get just one choice
For each opportunity,
Give it some thought,
And give ingenuity.

Before you decide,
There's a look in your eyes,
A wish of great hope,
To take home your prize,

But whatever it is,
Be it life, luck or love,
Be thankful for it,
Your gift from above.
