Welcome

Most of these poems were inspired and written for some of the most wonderful people in my life. The rest come from a place neither here nor there.

Heartfelt Comparisons

In all my life I've held no flower,
To compare it to thine lips.
Nor would I climb the highest tower,
To seek a gentle kiss.

Amongst the hills and rolling plains,
Of mice and deer to race.
Or holy falls of peaceful rain,
Your beauty they outgrace.

Yet may your eyes still shine like stars,
On all my weakest days.
Lifting up my drowned scars,
And light my heart ablaze.

Although you gleam like heaven not,
Your beauty true lies not forgot.
